Fishing in the lakes Tjurken, Borrassjön, Olasjön and Trehörningen

River Emån’s main stream flows through Lake Tjurken and both its in- and outlet are in the south part of the lake. Lake Tjurken is nutrient-rich and well stocked with bait fish for the big perch, pike-perch and above all pike which inhabit the lake.

Magnificent fishes like perch of 2,3 kilograms, pikeperch of 9,6 kilograms and pike of 19,4 kilograms have been documented in the lake! The pike population is rich, but the pike-perch population is sparse.

Below you can see Kristian Kårdal with a nice autumn pike from Tjurken, caught in the beginning of October. Of course, the pike was released after footage.
